My name Lamla is a Xhosa word meaning “Peacemaker” which I think is an accurate summary of my inner nature l have a genuine peaceful and helpful character. Alongside I also have a very transformative creative nature which I use to solve relevant problems and meet the needs of various users in this new ever changing digital world.
We live in a society that is morally decaying so it is even more important to love and respect one another. Be kind and help each other.
I have been blessed with some incredible visual prowess which I have spent my ten-year nurturing into a variety of useful skills. I am a good listener, a great empathiser and an even better visual communicator.
“Don’t tell me rather show me” is what I like to say because I absorb information much better when it is visually represented. I am a pictureholic who thrives the best in a colourful, medium paced hands on environment.
I enjoy playing sports particularly football I do my best to play and coach as often as possible. On the pitch I can be described as a versatile collaborative player whose best position is a creative defensive midfielder(a fusion of a traditional no10 & a traditional no6 aka a new-age no8) I have a strong knack for sensing danger, putting out fires and creating clear cut opportunities for my teammates. I also have a great sense of feeling energy and movement.
I believe these skillsets apply quite similarly in the digital landscape.
I have always been fascinated by innovation and entrepreneurship and although I’m new to the game pushing the boundaries, reinventing the rules and achieving profitable excellence is something I’m consistently striving for not just for me but also for my extended family.
I believe creativity is nothing new just an old idea applied in a new way or to a different context.
“In my short career I have failed & I’ve succeeded but more importantly I have learned” “I’m not everything I want to be, but I’m better than I was, and I’m still learning” I am open-minded and I believe we can learn from anyone especially from the transformative hurdles life throws at us. “It’s not what you see it’s more how you look at it” Andtwone Da Vinci(Lamla Tshepo Madumo)
